My favorite verse from Torah is Exodus 10:26: “For we do not know how we will serve G-d until we get there.” Sure, maybe this verse is Moses hemming and hawing with Pharaoh about the release of the Israelites, but it has become my personal philosophy. We don’t know how we will serve G-d—what talents are needed, what great ideas will occur to us—until we get to where we’re going. But when we do, we should approach our sacred service with deep joy!
